Seeing your a Yank, one of the people who think the sun shines out of their asses, I would't expect you to have any more thought on Thatcher than I did on Reagan. Next time I want a comment from you I'll ring the school bell.

Isakenaz, I note you're from Yorkshire, as am I. Thatcher did a lot to cause resentment and anger in north of England, as well as the rest of Britain. I am too young to lived through her time in office so I don't feel any great emotional response as many of the generation before me do. All I know is, neoliberal economics didn't begin with Thatcher, and neither did it end when she left political office. Not only the Tories but New Labour and the Lib Dems have taken her "legacy" and ran with it.

If you think she was really pulling the strings your mental,there all as bad as her even the "left wing" ones.
