America's food going to waste

I get the feeling it's only a matter of time before someone really clocks onto this and makes a huge business out of "concern" for waste and the environment. Sure, the companies selling food don't care about what happens after it's purchased, but that doesn't mean someone else won't if they can make a few gazillion dollars out of it.
