It may not be constructive, depending on who you are trying to construe. If you are trying to work with people who are "mainstream," perhaps not. Yet I do believe that was a very genuine burst of anger at the imperial capitalist system.

Whether or not one believes in a mass movement or in a hardcore group of revolutionaries is a point of discussion worth addressing as well. I think the "centralized group of professional revolutionaries" is important, and such hardcore activism may in fact not appeal to people who are more moderate.

I think needlessly provoking people (i.e., calling them "fascists") who, for whatever reason, commemorate the victims of the September 11 attacks is counterproductive.

Yes, capitalist and Zionist imperialism are responsible for establishing a culture conducive to the rise of terrorism in the Middle East. However, an intelligent approach to protesting the wars (and Western imperialism in general) is to calmly and rationally explain our foreign policy to the people. Explain that it's in their self-interest to oppose imperialism—the only beneficiaries of imperialism are multinational corporations and Israeli settlers.

Moreover, I consider the Revolutionary Communist Party to be a rather bizarre sect, which worships Bob Avakian of all people.. I've always considered cults of personality to be highly irrational, but to elevate someone like Avakian to such a status is especially irrational. Their fetishism of internationalism is also unsavory.
