What he means is: You have no right to make me work for less than a kings fortune, anything else is slavery. Silly in the extreme. I actually hope that this idiot gains MORE power, as that would ensure a 'reaction' he would not like in the least from those 'slave masters' ie working people without health care. Notice his,'you have a right to pursue happiness,' just no assurance of gaining ANY at all, especially if this cheap bastard has to pay a dime for you to get it. You have to be wealthy or at least self-sufficient for 'life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness' to have any meaning what ever, but of course the people that wrote that rhetoric were and knew that to be true.

Really? I'd like him to show me, where exactly in the Constitution it says no one has the right to universal healthcare.

You didn't know that Jefferson was a libertarian? Yeah he...IF you ask a libertoonian. Here is something to keep in mind when discussing terms with libertarians: Hamilton was a socialist. Yes it is true...'Rotarian Socialism', yeah, it actually happened like that. Once you get your head around the fact that libertarians believe that last sentence you can deal with their mentality, but ignore this and the terms drift to put it nicely. For the looneytoonians, there is no concept of the community as a good thin, no it is a 'collective' and any collective action that involves, taxes, or subjection to authority for any reason at all and is not unanimously agreed upon -- which is not possible under any system ever -- is tyranny, so of course all is tyranny. The Federalists were collectivist to these people, and anyone that even thinks about regulating or taxing business or income is just one step from Mao and Stalin...they are quite insane. Rand, Beck and Co have done their work well on these nabobs.Godfaesten wrote:"When in doubt, always make some obscure reference to the Founding Fathers." - Libertarian Mantra
