East Europe worker influx a boon for Far Right
An influx of eastern European workers to Austria and Germany once visa barriers fall on May 1 could not come at a better time for Heinz-Christian Strache.
More here
Seems Germany and Austria will start to slip fast soon regarding working and social conditions. Expect more people to join the precariat in these two countries.

You are absolutely right. There was a documentary a few months ago where they showed Polish temp agencies working in conjunction with German temp agencies to have Polish workers ready for German labor markets at rates of between 2 and 5 euros an hour when May 01 arrives. I'm thinking the German precariat is going to fall yet further, and that many regular German working-class jobs are going to succumb to this onslaught. Same as has been happening in Britain for the last seven years. Not going to be a pretty sight.

Then lets hope the German worker put up more of a fight than we British did. It's a case now that our unions recruit in Eastern Europe for members and our employment agencies advertise jobs in Britain over there before they are advertised at home.
