5 Points to Make You a Good (Bad) Boss
- Never praise your employees, but always be ready to scold them harshly and in public if you think they did something wrong, or not like you wanted.
- Remember that what you think is ALWAYS right.
- Your employees are much dumber than you, and you should try to remember them that at every single oportunity by clever passive-agressive remarks, to avoid lawsuits.
- Never give your employees clear instructions about anything, so you can always blame them later by pointing that they didn't follow your instructions like you told them to.
- Never give your employees the whole information, you don't want them to outsmart you in your own backyard, and you need to make them dependent of you so you can put them in their place accordingly.

That would be a horrible boss, but that's not how they're training them to be nowadays, at least on the surface. In fact there are several certifications for administration that aim to at least provide the facade of worker input. It's not workers' control but it's slightly better than how it used to be and what was listed above. That said, there are many that do at least some of those things and I've worked for them.
