1. François Hollande (Socialist Party) - 10,273,582 votes (28.63%)
2. Nicolas Sarkozy (Union for a Popular Movement) - 9,753,844 votes (27.18%)
3. Marine Le Pen (National Front) - 6,421,773 votes (17.90%)
4. Jean-Luc Mélenchon (Left Front) - 3,985,298 votes (11.11%)
5. François Bayrou (Democratic Movement) - 3,275,349 votes (9.13%)
6. Eva Joly Europe Écologie (The Greens) - 828,451 votes (2.31%)
7. Nicolas Dupont-Aignan (Arise the Republic) - 644,086 votes (1.79%)
8. Philippe Poutou (New Anticapitalist Party) - 411,178 votes (1.15%)
9. Nathalie Arthaud (Workers' Struggle) - 202,562 votes (0.56%)
10. Jacques Cheminade (Solidarity and Progress) - 89,572 votes (0.25%)

Here is an interview with one of the leaders of the Left Front, a splinter party from the Socialist Party of France. In this election cycle the Left Front put forth Jean-Luc Melenchon as it's candidate, running on an anti-austerity, pro-democracy platform.
