Devilishly simple really: Poor peasant peons in the first world pay for and build devices to be used upon poor peasant peons in the third world and ultimately as a control grid at home upon said first world poor peasant peons. Clever really. Notice that as well as using up resources this use of time and effort justifies the peonage of the masses so that 'freedom' which is NOT free at all nor even cheap, can be had by liberating people from their land and lives in the third world for corporate gain.

It is bondage to a debt ridden war machine, you British should see a familiar pattern, the similarities are not an accident -- and they will be ditching us soon just as they ditched you at the end of world war II after several centuries of bleeding you dry. They will attempt to ride the Russians or the Chinamen, but both of those are unstable as well and the EU is more an idea than a political reality. They may finally be out of chairs...one can hope at least.
