I think that this kind of innovative attitude to production is exactly what we need to help not only ourselves, but the impoverished third world nations. All that is needed is to teach the skills to enable entire peoples to raise themselves up from mud huts and poor sanitation. I think that the idea of open source tech is the way of the future.

This looks immensely promising.
