There is a serious qualitative deficit inherent to most modern revolutionary propaganda. (Interestingly, quite a bit of talent gets wasted in many satirical works.) Hopefully, this is an area that modern revolutionary socialists and left-wing nationalists can take advantage of.
At this time, I would like to showcase some compelling Soviet works.

It does not strike me so. A woman (possibly) is carrying a sickle, a "working" sort is shouldering a hammer, and an "intellectual" type is raising the red star. I believe it to be a poster symbolizing the unity of the peasant, worker, and party comrade.

Anyone speak Korean and can tell me what the writing says?
These NSDAP and Soviet comparison posters always get me, very cool.
This one of Stalin is always cool!
And I love this NSDAP poster! (lol yes, I edited out the swastika so it does not get removed. )
Break the chains of wage slavery!!!

Enjoying Mao as I do, have some PRC posters from the website from which I got my avatar, http://maopost.com:
Does anyone know the name of that black-white-red style of poster that the Chinese sometimes used?

Re: Everyone Loves Socialist Propaganda!
Apparently this one says "do not give empty promises!", but the top and bottom text seem to be switched around reading "empty promises do not give!"
Could someone please help me understand what exactly the following poster is about? I didn't think the Soviet Union was too concerned with gay couples, especially when they were trying to increase the population of Russia.

Re: Everyone Loves Socialist Propaganda!
Comraderly love?
I am familiar with that poster. In actuality, it is not uncommon for greetings or gratitude to be expressed through a kiss (or several) in many parts of the world, without any underlying sexual intent. It is unlikely that the Soviet Union under Stalin (who deemed homosexuality illegal) would disseminate homoerotic propaganda. What is more, it is not at all clear from that image that the kiss is directly on the mouth. It seems to me that both the soldier and the peasant are merely kissing each other on the cheek in a welcoming embrace, as is custom in much of Southern and Eastern Europe, although the angle and design are certainly awkward.

Thank you for sharing such an inspiring picture, Celt. Fraternal love has never been so moving.

I am very used to that sort of thing on the Cypriot side of my family, but the picture just looks like it's a bit more than a friendly greeting to me. It certainly seems to me as though they are in fact kissing on the lips, as you can see the peasant's nose covered by the soldier's, and the soldier's chin somewhat covered by the peasant's (which means their cheeks aren't touching as they would be in a friendly kiss). Also, the way that the peasant is holding the soldier looks a bit intimate to me.
As for Stalin, who knows? Maybe he secretly liked a bit of "Adam and Steve" and uh... overlooked it when he was approving propaganda. Anyway, not that there's anything wrong with homosexuality, but if I were Stalin I would've had the artist shot.
