Don't quite know where this belongs and of course the moderator is free to move it at will. A scathing piece by Chris Hedges on what is happening in the US school system. Of course those of us who have read our Baran and Sweezy know this has been going on for decades and is perhaps a concomitant of capitalism

Very interesting article, specially if we consider how the reactionaries love to demonize teachers and teachers unions. I don't believe in overly elaborated conspiracy theories, but i won't put my hands on the fire for our typical reactionary drivel in internet foruns.
