We are going no where fast though especially with the defunding of space programs such as NASA. I do agree with him that we need to unite and put the best of our minds together in order to colonize other planets. The earth can't last forever.

This reminds me. Anyone remember the name of that soviet movie in which they colonize a planet of aliens and try to teach them communism?

As for the 14 words I dont live by them or use them to sum up the struggle as I see it but I see the Liberation and future of our people the ultimate goal and if people dont want it then we set up our wno communites or autonumus zones for like minded people so they can live unmolested in a free system.

Sweet, haha. I had never actually seen it, only read about it but the idea of the movie sounds really interesting! I would sure hope we clean up our societies here before we meet any alien life forms. Right now they would laugh at us.

Well I personally dont see the point of forming a European superstate just to colonize other planets. Individual European Nations could try to do that themselves.

No of course not. Then again why would Hungary want to colonize another planet? I would personally be satisfied with Hungary stepping out of the EU ( and all other international things in general) and keeping to herself. If a country wants to colonize another planet then more power to them. I dont mind. I just dont want my country to try to colonize a planet ( or to be part of some superstate that wants to) because there would be no point in doing so.

Why would there be no point? The Earth isn't going to last forever.

Population growth is not a problem in any developed country ( especially if immigration is taken out of the picture). As for the sun dying out: Is there any evidence that would prove so?

Well, the sun, as any star, as a lifespan limited to the amount of "fuel" (hydrogen) it possess, and our sun is around mid life at the moment, and that should gives a few thousand million years still.

Well, right now the world has a whole has over 6 billion people and that number grows. Overcrowding is certainly an issue, but it is also how much garbage each person creates, and how many natural resources they use up. If we don't find alternative solutions soon we might not have long before we do have to leave the planet.

As for the sun, What Leon Mcnichol said. Yes, it will take a while. But I like to think of the future.

Like I wrote before all the issues related to population growth only apply to the Third World. As for natural resources and garbage, that can be solved without having to move to another planet.
