Unbelievable, how pathetic is revleft?

All the shit that's happening in this world, and the orthodox-left (or at least the revleft part of it) currently have seven pages of debate/argument about some pillock with a pasta bowl on his head. Unbelievable

I have an account over there; so sad that I wasn't able to get in on the srs debate.

Honestly, I think revleft is full of disgruntled kids and lazy stoners. They probably wouldn't be able to or even want to make their own way in a socialist economy. Most of them, anyway.

To add, most of the posters don't even seriously debate things. It is usually quick one liners, who then get enormous amounts of rep points given to them because usually the one liner is catchy or something.

Besides that, there's a couple of good posters and debates, but even those usually devolve into nothing.

I think a better way to frame the criticism is to note that most of those creatures are likely incapable of inspiring or mobilizing the working class into any revolutionary action. And even if such were to transpire independent of their efforts (which will almost certainly be the case), they likely lack the conviction or courage to take an active role in such an event.

Most of the individuals on that forum are insulated, petit-bourgeois snobs, with a correspondingly repulsive hubris and dogmatic approach to every conceivable question.

However, Revleft is not entirely a lost cause. There are a number of reasonable members there and you will occasionally encounter a thread worthy of discussion.

They are ridiculous. People I know who are Marxists also think they are ridiculous.

Its entertaining at times, especially every time someone argues about Third Worldism or legalizing Marijuana. Other then, its just catchy one liners with no real substance.

Oh, don't write the all off as tossers and idiots, there are a few that can put forward a reasonble argument, and show more that a modicum of intelligence. But I agree that mostly they're sick puppies unable to do more that hurl abuse and rep clever one liners.

This sums up my thoughts relating to 'Revleft'. The majority of the users of Revleft are life stylists with generally no idea of self-sacrifice in revolutionary politics as shown by several of their fruitful topics such as 'blacklisting in the 21st century' in which they show themselves to be social-democrats that are only revolutionary for namesake. Not to mention their consistent fertilization of drug use. The majority of Revlefters feel as well that when socialism is established it will mean that they no longer will have any duties towards society and they reap the benefits of the socialist industry and proletarian emancipation without labor. When this is not the case and those that don't proletarianize will not benefit from the socialist industry and society.

From what ive seen of rev left its six form common room politics at its best little middle class wankers.The worst thing on there is when people go to the OV forum groveling to the mods to have a ban lifted for putting an opinion forward and sayin somethi9ng like "please let me come back im sorry I said those things but in the last 10 minutes ive decided im not in support of (whatever) please let me play again please!!!.

After 3 pages they all start calling each other petit-bourgeois and start some how offending each other I bet pasta man is pissing himself at that thread.
