With "path", do you mean ideology or something like that?

Too many pick an ideology and follow it so dogmatically as to do nothing but amplify its errors.  I've read and been influenced by many writers from many different currents... Marxist, anarchist, etc.  There is no absolute system.  If you think there is (be it Marxist-Leninism or whatever) then you're kidding yourself.  Your ideology then becomes a comfort blanket allowing you to avoid facing the world as it is whilst maintaining the feeling that you are a revolutionary.

Read widely, be informed, respond to actual existing conditions.

What could I call myself?  A socialist for the most part...  a communist in the spirit of 1871... an anarchist who favours decentralized democracy... a conservative who respects culture and history... a radical who seeks to reform and correct what is unjust... a libertarian who defends individual freedom.

I agree with you. I used to call myself a Marxist-Leninist until quite recently, but then I started to feel that I'm kind of forcing some of the ideas on myself. I'm now somewhat unsure about almost everything, but I think I can handle this ideological crisis by reading a wider section of different authors. And the reason why I call myself a "National Bolshevik" is that I want to emphasize my socialist ideas, but also let people know I'm a nationalist.

The question was simply to find out what common ideas we shared and to see what areas if any people could work together on.
