Lets start a new socialist political party

Who's game? I don't mean it would only exist on SP. But we start recruiting members here, get the proper forms and move from there. I'd be willing to fill them out. We of course would have plenty of discussion on what we'd include in our platform and what we want to accomplish. I'm a democratic socialist, but marxists would be welcome and so would syndicalists. The key though is that we remain united as a party despite our personal disagreements. For example, I love God, and He is one of the greatest motivators for me to be a socialist. A hardcore marxist may not like that. But we'll put our personal differences aside. We can have all the discussion we want about how to run the party.

The reason for this is that current socialist parties in the USA do not represent my interests. DSA for example is all about entitlements rather than true collectivism and socialist unity. I find that not only counterproductive in drawing new members but also erroneous in theory.

The party I want to create would be heavy in solidarity, strong in collectvists initatives and extremely labor focused. We wouldn't immeaditely start talking about things commonly percieved as "entitlements" but rather the value of a social, work oriented society. The unification of humanity so to speak under the banner of socialism.

Think an international pan-socialist organization with an emphasis on workers rights and the promotion of collectivism.

Of course we could make some adjustments and focus on other goals if the majority of people are interested.

One of the central tenets of socialism is organization. Collective organization for the betterment of all. Let's start by shrugging off the laziness and complacency and get organized.
