Looking at this site, there is a lot of intersting stuff, so are there plans to dvelop SP & if so how?
Do you want people to set up SP groups? Promote the site/forum & then build up locally and in the nations SP supporters are based. As many of us are independent, maybe developing the SP is a good option?

I agree with that. I have invited many people to come and debate here. Some have and some have not but it is a good thing to try. I think that the best thing to do is to increase the volume of discussion, as well as the quality. If you know any sites that have users that you think would be interested then give it a shot!
On a side note, how has your theoretical framework been developing?

I agree. We need to do more to promote this place as a bastion of learning and discussion. So far what i've seen has been very intelligent, coherant and productive. I believe the reason for that is the active moderation and quality membership. We need to find more people and then sift the wheat from the chaff as they pour in.

I've noticed that activity has taken a large hit from what it used to be when I used this site.

Facebook page, hombres. I want to see if my RevLeft friends think I'm a Nazi for liking a left-wing nationalist page.

So.. what's going on with all this? Clearly the site hasn't grown, in fact it's actually shrunk.Also.. can we please alter the format of the textboxs so I can see what I write? That might help us to attract more people. It's annoying having to highlight all my invisible text because it's black text on a black text box.

Re: Building the Socialist Phalanx
The site has grown steadily since its formation. The general lack of activity in recent months seems to be the result of a confluence of factors, but mostly the inability of the core members (the moderators) to contribute regularly due to personal preoccupations. Unfortunately, it seems that the forum has not yet reached the point where it can sustain itself without our consistent input. Maybe you could assist in bolstering activity by offering more interesting posts, but please refrain from opening any more threads calling for fruitless activist campaigns. The ideas expressed therein are impractical and cliché, and we both understand perfectly well that it would amount to nothing.NotAMarxist wrote:So.. what's going on with all this? The design of the text box features a white font on a black background—too striking for some, perhaps, but certainly visible. The problem probably lies on your end, not ours.Also.. can we please alter the format of the textboxs so I can see what I write? That might help us to attract more people. Yeah, I'll do whatever I feel like. Don't tell me not to be an activist or I'll just take my talents elsewhere. You have no cause to insult me like you just have. I suggest you learn to treat people with respect.

Hello, NotAMarxist. I know what you're saying about the font vs background colours. You'll find that if you use the quick reply mode found at the bottom of each thread, it is dark text on a dark background. The solution is to actually click the 'Post Reply' button, or even the 'Quote Text' response, then the text will be lighter. The forum Admin is working on fixing the problem with this and it should be remedied soon.

Re: Building the Socialist Phalanx
For anything to grow, it needs activty, promotion, structure, debate and action.
Simply from looking at the site it shows that there is a need for a radical voice for left wing nationalists / patriots, but how are we going to develop it?
We need a simple platform people can agree with and then build loose network around it, not just in the USA but wherever left wing nationalists are.
To start we have this forum to build on, each area has its own section, so we could post news of what we do there. We need a platform and an agreed name, then from this we can build a movement to take our message out and develop.
What do people think?

Re: Building the Socialist Phalanx
I was not demanding anything of you, dear comrade. I politely requested that you discontinue these pointless calls to arms, especially in such a disparaging fashion. You are free to promote and discuss activism, but bear in mind that this is only an anonymous message board, and our primary purpose is to provide a platform for discussions related to our views. Far be it from me to alienate such a distinguished member as yourself, however. Perhaps my fellow administrators do not find such deprecation of our work nearly as insufferable as I do.NotAMarxist wrote:Yeah, I'll do whatever I feel like. Thank you for this insightful post, Altair. I have taken the liberty of inserting some simple CSS code to adjust the default text color. The both of you are most welcome.Altair wrote:Hello, NotAMarxist. I know what you're saying about the font vs background colours.
