Do you believe in a concept such as fate or destiny, i.e., that at least some events are predetermined? Why or why not?

Human interaction can create fate. All other instances are purely coincidental.

Fate is a concept our ancestors have understood since the beginning of our people,Why fate goes as it does is unknown to us and sometimes fate can be cruel to us but I pray it serves a higher or better purpose in the long run.
