For True Revolution
Ok so Socialists are supposed to be revolutionary. Mainstream people sometimes freak out when they hear about socialism. Oh my God those red freaks are gonna fry us. Well I say thats not true. Socialism isnt revolutionary. It only wants to take down this system and replace it with another. Its pretty much exactly like a group of people getting together and starting up a petition to get a new zoning ordinance. Totally different goals but totally same spirit. Your not against laws, your just against certain laws. Your not against authority your just against capitalist authority. I could go on but point is in spirit your reformist not revolutionary. A revolutionary wants to revolt all the time not just till some new system comes about.
Now what is revolutionary? I say anything or anyone that really goes against the grain. All government, all religion, all society, all authority, etc. In other words someone or something that says fuck you loud and proud to everything. Take GG Allin for instance. Sick guy but he was a true revolutionary. He never bowed to corporations never bowed to PC always said fuck you to everything. Or to use a much more well known example, take a look at Alice Cooper in the 70s. I know someone's gonna say your nuts Rebel that guy was just out to scare people. Just watch some of his old shows and then try to tell me that he wasnt revolting. True rock n roll ( heavy metal being the purest form of it) isnt just music. Its a way of life that has its own spirit. And that spirit is above all revolutionary. Its all about getting out there and pissing off your parents, teachers, cops, bosses, priests, politicians, etc. The same exact mindset a medieval beggar who threw stones at palaces had. Fuck all Motherfucking Authority.
Of course rock n roll isnt the only thing thats revolutionary. Theres movies, books, painting styles, so on. That brings me to say that Art and Attitude are the two things that are revolutionary. Not Politics. Politics cant be revolutionary because its always about trying to get people on your side. To turn the tide in your favor not walk against it. Its a crowd pleaser not a crowd shocker. I think its totally dishonest to say that your beliefs are revolutionary when your trying to get people to accept them. If your a rebel then its you ( and maybe a small band of allies) against the world. Not you with the world making things better for it. A revolutionary thing is always a movement of a minority not a movement of the majority like Socialism seeks to be. Mean think whats more revolutionary: Changing the economic system? Or getting chased down the street by a mob of people for saying stuff that pissed them off? If thats not fucking revolutionary I dont know what is. So yeah the point of this thread is that Socialism isnt revolutionary, Rebellion is.

Re: For True Revolution
This is ridiculous, how is Socialism not revolutionary? None of your post makes sense Rebel Warrior. Socialism is rebellion, rebellion against Capitalism and Liberalism.

Well, the better question is "Why hasn't this clown been banned yet?" Rebel Warrior is no longer permitted to post on the general forum. That is why. His posts are also, in addition to juvenile and asinine, blatantly anti-socialist.

Nah, why should he? Are his pathetic ramblings any worse than many on here? After all one day he may say so or do something useful, how many can claim that one?

If you have a problem with anyone in particular then address that person; otherwise, statements like that look passive aggressive and cowardly.
