The 50 States Post-Revolution
I was curious as to what our forum members thought of the existence states and provinces (of countries that have them) post-revolution? Do you foresee states and provinces realigning based on say the will of the collective proletariat for whatever reason (cultural for example) of said regions in question and/or those entity lines done away with altogether and becoming just one nation under Socialism or Communism? Thanks.

Re: The 50 States Post-Revolution
I would say that those regions would - if and only if they agreed to - give up being a separate entity once they decide to join with another. I don't really think that a Federalism as a type of government that should be necessary in a democratic society. Instead would prefer a type of Unitarism, though decentralized. I remember reading that the Netherlands has such a system that I think I'll research. If a nation is so different that it would wish to have separate laws from another then they should not be unified in government. I think that is fairly logical.
