Oh Dear....

Oh dear, it would seem that being abrasive in my ideas about socialism, in particular revolutionary-socialism, is beginning to upset other members. I could apologise, but why should I? After all if you can’t stand the heat…

I have been asked – What is my problem with the strasserites? – I had an answer but for the sake of forum harmony I will not post it suffice to say, the enemy of my enemy is not necessarily my friend.

I will agree with the unspoken accusation that it no doubt appears to some that I use my privileged position as an EC member and a forum moderator as a shield, allowing me to make statements that might get lesser members banished to OV. There is no truth in that idea, I have never, nor would I use my position to facilitate such actions, if you do not like what I’m saying take it up with me, if you still feel that you are being hard done by complain to one of the other EC members, the restrictions imposed through rule breaking are applicable to all and I will accept the ruling of my peers (hopefully with less grumbling than some here).

Are we here to discuss and debate? Does it hurt some peoples feeling that my ideas of left-wing nationalism may differ from others, that I have adopted a revolutionary-socialist position further left that some? Do people feel ‘bullied’ that my ideas will brook no compromise? Should I compromise and be nice to those I consider little more than reactionaries hiding beneath a left-wing nationalist blanket, so avoiding hurting their feelings? A while back it was argued that compromise and reformism lead only to defeat. Now I am being told that my position is closer to cosmopolitism than nationalism, that I’m beginning to sound like revleft, and that from those here whose left-wing nationalism is beginning to sound extremely ‘movementish’. Chauvinism seems to be the guiding factor, “me and mine are okay, everybody else are just foreign and don’t count”.

For those who are unaware, the term ‘cosmopolitan’ comes from the Greek philosopher Socrates, who is said to have declared “I am not an Athenian or a Greek, but a citizen of the world”( from Plutarch, Of Banishment), in other words those who would see the human race homogenized into one single group, with no real culture, history or background. I am not, or ever will be, one of those, I am simply a socialist who sees nationalism as only possible on an international scale. If that upsets all the ‘little Englanders’, Britons, Hungarians or whatever, tough, get over it. Look around you see what influence you have within those respective nations.

Socialism cannot stand if isolated in a single country, it has to be implemented nationally but over an international scale (after all only a fool, or a revleft dreamer can believe that the revolution will occur everywhere at the same moment), but I’m beginning to hear the cry of socialism will be implemented in this country first and then if possible, and only if possible, other countries.

So, forum-comrades, if you feel that my brand of revolutionary socialism and left-wing nationalism is unacceptable, feel free to complain to a moderator.

Well ive not compalined to anyone and will not as im happy for people to have a posistion and will happily debate it.As for complaints the feeling ive been getting is that you and perhaps one other have been trying to get myself or other Strasserist removed from this forum.

To clarify my posistion im happy with all folk here to have any posistion and ill happily debate with any forum members.If was looking for an ideilogical circle jerk id post on SF and blame the JOOOOSSSS.

I said I wouldn't post it and I won't. As to discussing it via pm, why? What have you to say that will make your views any more acceptable?

I don't think anyone on this board is in favor of the establishment. I think everyone just has different ways and ideas on how to bring it down, as well as slightly different ways on how to build it back up once it is down. We are all ethnic nationalists as well as socialists so I don't see any reason, at this moment in time, we should come into harsh conflict with each other. We can save it for when we actually have to build our own system back up.

I don't see beyond healthy debate why any Revolutionary Syndicalist should come into such harsh contact with a Strasserist, and vice versa as well. Sort of how like the races will fight among each other, while the bankers and capitalists run off with the cash. We shouldn't be fighting among each other either (beyond healthy, sometimes intense, debate).

First, the part about strasserites was for those who had asked the question.
Second, I have made no accusations that you, or any other Strasserite, need to answer.
Third, I was referring to me, there is nothing you can say that will make your ideological views more acceptable to me. Others may choose to accept some of your ideas, that's their perogative, I haven't got to.
