Yes, but while the Third World is indeed overpopulated, they still even aren't consuming a fraction of the natural resources that we in the First World nations are (China notwithstanding).

Resource usage is not the measure of their worth; they are competitors for land and food and thus a threat; they should not be molly coddled they should be put down. Now as I see it:

America will fall hard within say 20 years or at least get rocked hard enough not be be able to keep it all going...like lets say a military revolt on the North American continent that is generally supported by most of the commands world wide, or even that the dollar implodes and the parties and bankers cannot contain either hyperinflation or a deflationary spiral...well then...

China will experience a massive die off when the American oil/chemical based agricultural system -- which largely feeds them in the rough times, seconded by Russia to a lesser extent, who is not doing well these past years -- breaks down and/or the peasants in China finally, rise up -- and they always do in time -- and burn the cities and institute a new mandate from heaven; also it should be noted that the central asian nomadic peoples of Mongolian and Turkic decent, absolutely, HATE the Han Chinese with a passion and will exterminate them all along the old silk road, as soon as Beijing cannot protect them in central Asia -- it has happened before and soon I think will happen again. The nomads never change, are immune to change almost. You cannot educate them into being nice as their lands are so terrible that only cruel and terrible people can live upon them except in isolated oases and trade towns that the Han control at this time and have sought to control for most of the last four thousand years.

Also it should be born in mind that if China implodes so will North Korea. Things are so bad there that they run the CHINESE border to get to better living conditions! China props them up as a buffer. And if N. Korea goes wild this might pull in Japan and S. Korea if played right. Lots of deaths and elimination of competition from the yellow men.

India and Pakistan will solve each others equations as they both need the water sheds in the disputed northern plain and thus war between them is inevitable and as both are nuclear powers and fanatical...well you know. China falling into itself and America imploding will create a vacuum that both will try to fill and thus they will destroy each other.

Without the UN ie the Imperium Americanum and the business interests that it fronts for, to hold them in check,even partially Africa will largely descend into total savagery.. but only until they ran out of loot..then back to the tribal level, from whence we took them kicking and crying so many centuries ago, except maybe on the Cape but only then if the Afrikaners get their minds right and just take over control so as to save themselves from the general fate.

This leaves: Europe, America, Canada, Russia, Australia, New Zeeland, and the Monroe Doctrine states of Latin America, all of which would have to suffer at least some 'selective population reductions' by which I mean ethnic cleansing/forced repatriation of third worlders to their fates...thus reaching about 2 maybe 4 billion souls on earth; which is a much more sustainable and brighter eyed, population level.

Quite a bit of conjecture there, my friend. I honestly don't see such an apocalyptic scenario on the horizon, but your guess is as good as mine at this point.

The near genocide of every non-Caucasian population is not required in order to achieve environmental stability. Technology already exists—which, incidentally, is purposely being suppressed (thanks to the wonder profit motive)—that can produce sustainable and renewable energy in the near future. Sound economic and social planning can address issues related to food production and overpopulation. The current obstacles to ecological sustainability aren't insurmountable.
