I'm sure claiming to transcend the conventional left-right paradigm aided in their electoral efforts, although such a slogan is patently disingenuous. UKIP have always been a party of the libertarian right; their Euroscepticism in no way constitutes a left-wing dimension to their ideology.

Undoubtedly. Their stance on immigration and the EU is also received well by working class voters who traditionally vote Labour.

UKIP is a Thatcherite party which is pro-austerity, anti NHS and would be an absolute disaster for the working class in Britain. If you want Thatcher to rise from her grave vote UKIP.
