James Connolly: A Working Class Hero

This is the most detailed documentary about the life of James Connolly I've yet to encounter. Among other things, it discusses his conception of left-wing nationalism and contributions to Marxist and syndicalist thought.

Suffice it to say, it's worth viewing.

The Irish Citizen's Army was put down by reactionaries and infiltrators. Connolly was a heroic Left Wing Nationalist, and the modern Marxist imposters aren't fit to lick his boots.

I completely agree that the heroism and intellectual acumen displayed by Connolly is transparently lacking in the vast majority of contemporary (pseudo-)Marxists.

Thank you! I can use that information for the SWPE site. People need to know that there was a genuine alternative to the British Imperialists AND the sectarian bigots; an alternative which was extinguished by those who prefer bloodshed (and the profits that go with it) to an honourable peace with justice for all.
