The continued sympathy for the Soviet era in Russia is a well known phenomenon. However, it appears that there are also quite a few active radical organizations in Russia, as this clip from the May Day celebrations this year indicates:
The Communist Party of the Russian Federation performs relatively well in the country's elections, and if the state is eventually able to conduct less corrupt elections, I think it's reasonable to assume the CPRF just might win a majority of the seats in the State Duma sometime in the near future.
