Forum Format Empty Forum Format

I'm new so this might be the wrong place for this question (but there seems to be no other place to post it!): is it possible to change the format of this forum (as an individual preference, perhaps) so that it's no longer white on a black background? Other forums have different styles, does this one have similar options, too? I've looked, but I can't see any.

If not, can I make this a suggestion?

Unfortunately I don't believe forum settings can be personalized. If they could be, we would enable that option for members. I'll look into the matter further just to be sure.
